Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 22929
It is narrated on the authority of Ibn Buhaina (may Allah be pleased with him) that once, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forgot to sit after praying two rak'ahs of Zuhr prayer and stood up directly. When he reached near the end of the prayer, he performed two prostrations of forgetfulness and after finishing the prayer with Salam, he completed the prayer.

حضرت ابن بحینہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ ظہر کی نماز میں دو رکعت پڑھا کر بیٹھنا بھول گئے اور سیدھے کھڑے ہوگئے پھر جب اختتام نماز کے قریب پہنچے تو سہو کے دو سجدے کئے اور سلام پھیر کر نماز کو مکمل کردیا۔
Hazrat Ibn Baheena Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki aik martaba Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Zuhar ki namaz mein do rakat parha kar bethna bhul gaye aur seedhe kharay hogaye phir jab ikhtetam namaz ke kareeb pahunche to sahu ke do sajday kiye aur salam phir kar namaz ko mukammal kardiya.
قَرَأْتُ عَلَى عَبدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، مَالِكٍ ، عَنِ ابنِ شِهَاب ، عَنْ عَبدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ عَبدِ اللَّهِ ابنِ بحَيْنَةَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " صَلَّى لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، ثُمَّ قَامَ فَلَمْ يَجْلِسْ، فَقَامَ النَّاسُ مَعَهُ، فَلَمَّا قَضَى صَلَاتَهُ وَنَظَرْنَا تَسْلِيمَهُ، كَبرَ، فَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ قَبلَ التَّسْلِيمِ، ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ" .
