Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 23212
A companion, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates, "I asked the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, 'O Messenger of Allah! When were you made a Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him?' The Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, replied, 'At the time when Prophet Adam, peace be upon him, was still between the spirit and the body.'"

ایک صحابی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ سے پوچھا یا رسول اللہ! آپ کو کب نبی ﷺ بنایا گیا؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اس وقت جب کہ حضرت آدم علیہ السلام ابھی روح اور جسم ہی کے درمیان تھے۔

حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بنُ النُّعْمَانِ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ ، عَنْ عَبدِ اللَّهِ بنِ شَقِيقٍ ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، مَتَى جُعِلْتَ نَبيًّا؟ قَالَ: " وَآدَمُ بيْنَ الرُّوحِ وَالْجَسَدِ" .
