Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 23267
It is narrated on the authority of Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) offered the prayer of fear in an area of Banu Salim called "Dhi Qard." The people formed two rows behind the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). One row stood facing the enemy, while the other stood behind the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to pray. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led them in one rak'ah (unit of prayer). Then, these people went and switched places with those facing the enemy. The other group came and stood behind the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and he led them in the second rak'ah.

حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ جناب رسول اللہ ﷺ نے بنو سلیم کے ایک علاقے میں جس کا نام "" ذی قرد "" تھا نماز خوف پڑھائی لوگوں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کے پیچھے دو صفیں بنالیں ایک صف دشمن کے سامنے کھڑی رہی اور ایک صف نبی کریم ﷺ کی اقتداء میں نماز کے لئے کھڑی ہوگئی نبی کریم ﷺ نے ان لوگوں کو ایک رکعت پڑھائی پھر یہ لوگ دشمن کے سامنے ڈٹے ہوئے لوگوں کی جگہ الٹے پاؤں چلے گئے اور وہ لوگ ان کی جگہ نبی کریم ﷺ کے پیچھے آکر کھڑے ہوگئے اور نبی کریم ﷺ نے انہیں دوسری رکعت پڑھائی۔
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Janaab Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Banu Saleem ke aik ilaqay mein jis ka naam "Zi Qard" tha Namaz Khauf parhayi logon ne Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke peeche do safein banalien aik saf dushman ke samne khadi rahi aur aik saf Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki iqteda mein Namaz ke liye khadi hogayi Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne in logon ko aik rakat parhayi phir ye log dushman ke samne date huye logon ki jagah ulte paon chale gaye aur wo log in ki jagah Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke peeche aakar khade hogaye aur Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne inhen dusri rakat parhayi.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَبي بكْرِ بنِ أَبي الْجَهْمِ ، عَنْ عُبيْدِ اللَّهِ بنِ عَبدِ اللَّهِ بنِ عُتْبةَ ، عَنِ ابنِ عَباسٍ ، قَالَ: " صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَاةَ الْخَوْفِ بذِي قَرَدٍ أَرْضٍ مِنْ أَرْضِ بنِي سُلَيْمٍ، فَصَفَّ النَّاسُ خَلْفَهُ صَفَّيْنِ، صَفًّا يُوَازِي الْعَدُوَّ، وَصَفًّا خَلْفَهُ، فَصَلَّى بالصَّفِّ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ رَكْعَةً، ثُمَّ نَكَصَ هَؤُلَاءِ إِلَى مَصَافِّ هَؤُلَاءِ، وَهَؤُلَاءِ إِلَى مَصَافِّ هَؤُلَاءِ، فَصَلَّى بهِمْ رَكْعَةً أُخْرَى" ..
