The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2368
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered a Jewish man and woman to be stoned to death at the gate of the mosque. When the Jewish man felt the pain of the stones, he began to bend down and try to save the woman, until they both died. Indeed, the punishment that was given to both of them was the punishment prescribed by Allah, because the proof of adultery had been established against both of them, therefore the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) carried out this punishment on them.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے ایک یہودی مرد و عورت کو مسجد کے دروازے کے پاس رجم کرنے کا حکم دیا، یہودی کو جب پتھروں کی تکلیف محسوس ہوئی تو وہ اس عورت کو جھک جھک کر بچانے کی کوشش کرنے لگا، تاآنکہ وہ دونوں ختم ہو گئے، درحقیقت ان دونوں کو جو سزا دی گئی تھی، وہ اللہ کی مقرر کردہ سزا تھی کیونکہ ان دونوں کے متعلق بدکاری کا ثبوت مہیا ہو گیا تھا اس لئے نبی ﷺ نے ان پر یہ سزا جاری فرمائی۔
Sayyidaana Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki aik martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne aik Yahodi mard o aurat ko masjid ke darwaze ke paas Rajm karne ka hukm diya, Yahodi ko jab pattharon ki takleef mehsoos hui to woh is aurat ko jhuk jhuk kar bachane ki koshish karne laga, ta'aan'k woh dono khatam ho gaye, dar haqeeqat in donon ko jo saza di gayi thi, woh Allah ki muqarrar kardah saza thi kyunki in donon ke mutalliq badkari ka saboot muhayya ho gaya tha is liye Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne in par yeh saza jari farmaayi.
حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ ، وَسَعْدٌ , قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، قَالَ: وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ رُكَانَةَ ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ:" أَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِرَجْمِ الْيَهُودِيِّ وَالْيَهُودِيَّةِ، عِنْدَ بَابِ مَسْجِدِهِ، فَلَمَّا وَجَدَ الْيَهُودِيُّ مَسَّ الْحِجَارَةِ قَامَ عَلَى صَاحِبَتِهِ، فَجنَا عَلَيْهَا يَقِيهَا مَسَّ الْحِجَارَةِ، حَتَّى قُتِلَا جَمِيعًا، فَكَانَ مِمَّا صَنَعَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لِرَسُولِهِ فِي تَحْقِيقِ الزِّنَا مِنْهُمَا".
