Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 23726
It is narrated on the authority of Salman (may Allah be pleased with him) that he reached near a city and said to his companions, "Leave me, so I can present the invitation to them in the same way that I saw the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) present the invitation." Then he said to the people of the city, "I was one of you. Allah guided me to Islam. If you accept Islam, you will have the same rights as we have. If you refuse it, then pay the Jizya (tax), in this state you will be humiliated. And if you refuse this too, then we will fight you with equal response. Surely, Allah does not like the treacherous." He continued like this for three days. Then, when the fourth day came, he, along with the people, advanced towards the city and conquered it.

حضرت سلمان رضی اللہ عنہ کے حوالے سے مروی ہے کہ وہ ایک شہر کے قریب پہنچے تو اپنے ساتھیوں سے فرمایا کہ مجھے چھوڑ دو تاکہ میں ان کے سامنے اسی طرح دعوت پیش کر دوں جیسے میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو دعوت دیتے ہوئے دیکھا ہے پھر انہوں نے اہل شہر سے فرمایا کہ میں تم ہی میں کا ایک فرد تھا اللہ نے مجھے اسلام کی ہدایت دے دی اگر تم بھی اسلام قبول کرلو تو تمہارے وہی حقوق ہوں گے جو ہمارے ہیں اگر تم اس سے انکار کرتے ہو جز یہ ادا کرو اس حال میں تم ذلیل ہوگے اگر تم اس سے بھی انکار کرتے ہو تو ہم تمہیں برابر کا جواب دیں گے بیشک اللہ خیانت کرنے والوں کو پسند نہیں فرماتا " تین دن تک وہ اسی طرح کرتے رہے پھر جب چوتھا دن ہوا تو وہ لوگوں کو لے کر اس شہر کی طرف بڑھے اور اسے فتح کرلیا۔
Hazrat Salman (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke hawale se marvi hai ki woh aik shehar ke qareeb pahunche to apne saathiyon se farmaya ki mujhe chhor do taake main in ke samne isi tarah dawat pesh kar dun jaise main ne Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko dawat dete hue dekha hai phir unhon ne ahl e shehar se farmaya ki main tum hi main ka aik fard tha Allah ne mujhe Islam ki hidayat de di agar tum bhi Islam qubool karlo to tumhare wohi huqooq honge jo hamare hain agar tum is se inkar karte ho juz ye ada karo is hal main tum zaleel hoge agar tum is se bhi inkar karte ho to hum tumhen barabar ka jawab denge beshak Allah khiyanat karne walon ko pasand nahin farmata Teen din tak woh isi tarah karte rahe phir jab chautha din hua to woh logon ko lekar is shehar ki taraf barhe aur ise fatah karliya
حَدَّثَنَا الزُّبَيْرِيُّ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْبَخْتَرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ ، أَنَّهُ انْتَهَى إِلَى حِصْنٍ أَوْ مَدِينَةٍ، فَقَالَ لِأَصْحَابِهِ: دَعُونِي أَدْعُوهُمْ كَمَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدْعُوهُمْ، فَقَالَ: " إِنَّمَا كُنْتُ رَجُلًا مِنْكُمْ، فَهَدَانِي اللَّهُ لِلْإِسْلَامِ، فَإِنْ أَسْلَمْتُمْ فَلَكُمْ مَا لَنَا وَعَلَيْكُمْ مَا عَلَيْنَا، وَإِنْ أَنْتُمْ أَبَيْتُمْ، فَأَدُّوا الْجِزْيَةَ وَأَنْتُمْ صَاغِرُونَ، فَإِنْ أَبَيْتُمْ نَابَذْنَاكُمْ عَلَى سَوَاءٍ، إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْخَائِنِينَ" ، يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ بِهِمْ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ، فَلَمَّا كَانَ الْيَوْمُ الرَّابِعُ غَدَا النَّاسُ إِلَيْهَا فَفَتَحُوهَا.
