Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 23904
It is narrated on the authority of Bilal Habshi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) wiped over his socks and turban.

حضرت بلال حبشی رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے موزوں اور عمامے پر مسح فرمایا۔
Hazrat Bilal Habshi Razi Allah Anhu se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mozon aur amamay par masah farmaya.
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، أخبرنا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ عُتَيْبَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ ، عَنْ بِلَالٍ : رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يَمْسَحُ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ وَالْخِمَارِ" .
