Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 23960
It is narrated on the authority of Fadalah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once he was with the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) in a battle in which slaves also participated, but the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not give them a share (of the spoils of war).

حضرت فضالہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہم کے ساتھ کسی غزوے میں شریک تھے جس میں غلام بھی شامل تھے لیکن نبی کریم ﷺ نے انہیں حصہ نہیں دیا۔
Hazrat Fazala Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki ek martaba sahaba kiram raziallahu anhum ke sath kisi gazve mein shareek the jis mein ghulam bhi shamil the lekin Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unhen hissa nahi diya.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ ، عَنْ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ ، أَنَّهُمْ " كَانُوا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي غَزْوَةٍ، قَالَ: وَفِينَا مَمْلُوكونَ، فَلَا يَقْسِمُ لَهُمْ" .
