Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 24041
Narrated Aisha: The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to observe Itikaf (seclusion in the mosque for worship) and would put his head out for me from the mosque (i.e. out of the mosque) and I would wash it, though I was menstruating.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ معتکف ہوتے اور مسجد سے اپنا سر باہر نکال دیتے، میں اسے دھو دیتی حالانکہ میں ایام سے ہوتی تھی۔
Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) itikaf hote aur masjid se apna sar bahar nikal dete, mai ise dho deti halanki mai ayam se hoti thi.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ تَمِيمِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَت:" كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَعْتَكِفُ، فَيُخْرِجُ إِلَيَّ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ، فَأَغْسِلُهُ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ" .
