Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 24047
It is narrated on the authority of Ayesha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade wearing gold, we said: O Messenger of Allah! Shall we not take a little gold and mix musk in it? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Why don't you mix it with silver, then mix it with saffron, so that it will become like gold.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ جب نبی ﷺ نے سونا پہننے سے منع فرمایا تو ہم نے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ! کیا ہم تھوڑا سا سونا لے کر اس میں مشک نہ ملا لیا کریں؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا تم اسے چاندی کے ساتھ کیوں نہیں ملاتیں، پھر اسے زعفران کے ساتھ خلط ملط کرلیا کرو، جس سے وہ چاندی بھی سونے کی طرح ہوجائے گی۔
Hazrat Aisha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki jab Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne sona pehenne se mana farmaya to hum ne arz kiya Ya Rasulullah kya hum thora sa sona lekar us mein mushk na mila liya karein Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya tum usay chandi ke sath kyun nahi milati phir usay zaffran ke sath khalt malt kar liya karo jis se woh chandi bhi sone ki tarah ho jaey gi.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ خُصَيْفٍ ، وَمَرْوَانَ بْنِ شُجَاعٍ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي خُصَيْفٌ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، وَقَالَ: مَرْوَانُ، سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ، تَقُولُ قَالَتْ: لَمَّا نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ لُبْسِ الذَّهَبِ، قُلْنَا: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، أَلَا نَرْبِطُ الْمِسْكَ بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ؟ قَالَ: " أَفَلَا تَرْبِطُونَهُ بِالْفِضَّةِ، ثُمَّ تَلْطَخُونَهُ بِزَعْفَرَانَ، فَيَكُونَ مِثْلَ الذَّهَبِ؟" ..
