Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 24070
Hazrat Aisha (RA) narrated that the Prophet (SAW) used to pray eleven rakats after Isha prayer, and then he would pray one rakat of Witr, and after finishing the prayer, he would lay down on his right side.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ رات کو عشاء کے بعد گیارہ رکعتیں پڑھتے تھے اور ایک رکعت وتر پڑھتے تھے اور نماز سے فارغ ہو کر دائیں پہلو پر لیٹ جاتے۔
Hazrat Ayesha razi Allah tala anha se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) raat ko isha ke baad gyarah rakatain parhte thay aur ek rakat witr parhte thay aur namaz se farigh ho kar daen pehlu par lait jatay.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" كَانَ يُصَلِّي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ إِحْدَى عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً يُوتِرُ مِنْهَا بِوَاحِدَةٍ، فَإِذَا فَرَغَ مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ، اضْطَجَعَ عَلَى شِقِّهِ الْأَيْمَنِ" .
