Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 24290
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once after the commandment of Hijab was revealed, Sauda (may Allah be pleased with her) went out to relieve herself. Since she was tall and well-built (people could recognize her), Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) met her on the way. Seeing Sauda (may Allah be pleased with her), he called out to her from afar, “O Sauda! By Allah, when you go out, you are not hidden from us, so be careful how you go out.” Sauda (may Allah be pleased with her) returned to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). At that time, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was having his dinner. She mentioned to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) what Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) had said. At that time, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had a bone in his hand. At that very moment, revelation descended upon the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). When that state was over, the bone was still in the blessed hand of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and he said, “You are allowed to go out for your needs.”

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ حجاب کا حکم نازل ہونے کے بعد ایک مرتبہ حضرت سودہ رضی اللہ عنہ قضاء حاجت کے لئے نکلیں، چونکہ ان کا قد لمبا اور جسم بھاری تھا (اس لئے لوگ انہیں پہچان لیتے تھے) راستے میں انہیں حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ مل گئے، انہوں نے حضرت سودہ رضی اللہ عنہ کو دیکھ کر دور سے ہی پکارا سودہ! واللہ جب تم نکلتی ہو تو ہم سے پوشیدہ نہیں رہتیں اس لئے دیکھ لیا کرو کہ کس کیفیت میں باہر نکل رہی ہو، حضرت سودہ رضی اللہ عنہ الٹے قدموں نبی ﷺ کے پاس واپس آگئیں، اس وقت نبی ﷺ رات کا کھانا تناول فرما رہے تھے، انہوں نے نبی ﷺ سے حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کی بات ذکر کی، اس وقت نبی ﷺ کے ہاتھ میں ایک ہڈی تھی، اسی لمحے نبی ﷺ پر وحی نازل ہونے لگی، جب وہ کیفیت دور ہوئی تو نبی ﷺ کے دست مبارک میں وہ ہڈی اسی طرح تھی اور نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا تمہیں اپنی ضروریات کے لئے نکلنے کی اجازت دے دی گئی ہے۔
Hazrat Aisha Radi Allaho Anha se marvi hai ke hijab ka hukum nazil hone ke bad ek martaba Hazrat Sauda Radi Allaho Anha qaza hajat ke liye niklin, chunki unka qad lamba aur jism bhari tha (is liye log unhen pehchan lete the) raste mein unhen Hazrat Umar Radi Allaho Anho mil gaye, unhon ne Hazrat Sauda Radi Allaho Anha ko dekh kar door se hi pukara Sauda! Wallah jab tum nikalti ho to hum se poshida nahi rehti is liye dekh liya karo ke kis kefiyat mein bahar nikal rahi ho, Hazrat Sauda Radi Allaho Anha ulte kadmon Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ke pas wapas aagayi, us waqt Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam raat ka khana تناول farma rahe the, unhon ne Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam se Hazrat Umar Radi Allaho Anha ki baat zikar ki, us waqt Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ke hath mein ek haddi thi, usi lamhe Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam par wahi nazil hone lagi, jab woh kefiyat door hui to Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ke dast mubarak mein woh haddi usi tarah thi aur Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya tumhen apni zaruriyat ke liye nikalne ki ijazat de di gayi hai.
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَت: خَرَجَتْ سَوْدَةُ لِحَاجَتِهَا لَيْلًا بَعْدَ مَا ضُرِبَ عَلَيْهِنَّ الْحِجَابُ، قَالَتْ: وَكَانَتْ امْرَأَةً تَفْرَعُ النِّسَاءَ، جَسِيمَةً، فَوَافَقَهَا عُمَرُ فَأَبْصَرَهَا، فَنَادَاهَا يَا سَوْدَةُ، إِنَّكِ وَاللَّهِ مَا تَخْفَيْنَ عَلَيْنَا، إِذَا خَرَجْتِ فَانْظُرِي كَيْفَ تَخْرُجِينَ، أَوْ كَيْفَ تَصْنَعِينَ؟ فَانْكَفَأَتْ، فَرَجَعَتْ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَإِنَّهُ لَيَتَعَشَّى، فَأَخْبَرَتْهُ بِمَا قَالَ لَهَا عُمَرُ، وَإِنَّ فِي يَدِهِ لَعَرْقًا، فَأُوحِيَ إِلَيْهِ، ثُمَّ رُفِعَ عَنْهُ وَإِنَّ الْعَرْقَ لَفِي يَدِهِ، فَقَالَ: " لَقَدْ أُذِنَ لَكُنَّ أَنْ تَخْرُجْنَ لِحَاجَتِكُنَّ" .
