The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2431
Narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) in explanation of the Jinn's statement: «﴿وَأَنَّهُ لَمَّا قَامَ عَبْدُ اللّٰهِ يَدْعُوهُ كَادُوا يَكُونُونَ عَلَيْهِ لِبَدًا﴾ [al-Jinn: 19] » (And when the servant of Allah stood up invoking Him, they almost crowded upon him.) that when they (the Jinn) saw that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was leading the noble Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) in prayer, and the Companions were following him (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in prayer, they were bowing when he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) bowed, and prostrating when he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prostrated, they were amazed by the obedience of the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) to Mustafa (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). So, when they returned to their people, they said that when the servant of Allah, meaning the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), stood up, the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) almost crowded upon him.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے جنات کے اس قول: «﴿وَأَنَّهُ لَمَّا قَامَ عَبْدُ اللّٰهِ يَدْعُوهُ كَادُوا يَكُونُونَ عَلَيْهِ لِبَدًا﴾ [الجن: 19] » کی تفسیر میں منقول ہے کہ جب انہوں نے دیکھا کہ نبی ﷺ صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہم کو نماز پڑھا رہے ہیں اور صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہم نماز میں آپ کی اقتداء کر رہے ہیں، آپ ﷺ کے رکوع پر خود رکوع کر رہے ہیں، آپ ﷺ کے سجدے پر خود سجدہ کر رہے ہیں، تو انہیں صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہم کی اطاعت مصطفیٰ ﷺ پر تعجب ہوا، چنانچہ جب وہ اپنی قوم کی طرف لوٹ کر گئے تو کہنے لگے کہ جب اللہ کا بندہ یعنی نبی ﷺ کھڑے ہوتے ہیں تو قریب ہے کہ صحابہ رضی اللہ عنہم ان کے لئے بھیڑ لگا کر جمع ہو جائیں۔
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se jinnat ke is qaul: "Wa innahu lamma qama Abdullah yad'oohu kaadu yakoonoona alaihi libadan" [Al-Jinn: 19] ki tafseer mein manqol hai ki jab unhon ne dekha ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Sahaba Kiram (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ko namaz parha rahe hain aur Sahaba Kiram (رضي الله تعالى عنه) namaz mein aap ki iqtida kar rahe hain, aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke ruku par khud ruku kar rahe hain, aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sajday par khud sajda kar rahe hain, to unhen Sahaba Kiram (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ki ita'at Mustafa (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) par ta'ajjub hua, chunancha jab wo apni qaum ki taraf laut kar gaye to kahne lage ki jab Allah ka banda yani Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) kharay hote hain to qareeb hai ki Sahaba (رضي الله تعالى عنه) un ke liye bheer laga kar jama ho jayen.
(حديث موقوف) حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ ، قَالَ أَبُو عَوَانَةَ , حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بِشْرٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ فِي قَوْلِ الْجِنِّ: وَأَنَّهُ لَمَّا قَامَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ يَدْعُوهُ كَادُوا يَكُونُونَ عَلَيْهِ لِبَدًا سورة الجن آية 19 , قَالَ:" لَمَّا رَأَوْهُ يُصَلِّي بِأَصْحَابِهِ، وَيُصَلُّونَ بِصَلَاتِهِ، وَيَرْكَعُونَ بِرُكُوعِهِ، وَيَسْجُدُونَ بِسُجُودِهِ، تَعَجَّبُوا مِنْ طَوَاعِيَةِ أَصْحَابِهِ لَهُ، فَلَمَّا رَجَعُوا إِلَى قَوْمِهِمْ، قَالُوا: إِنَّهُ لَمَّا قَامَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدْعُوهُ، كَادُوا يَكُونُونَ عَلَيْهِ لِبَدًا".
