Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 24312
It is narrated by Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that one night I was frightened because I did not find the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) on his bed. I reached out to feel around, and my hand touched the feet of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) who was standing. And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was in a state of prostration, and he was supplicating: "O Allah! I seek refuge in Your pleasure from Your displeasure, in Your forgiveness from Your punishment, and in You from You. I cannot encompass Your praise, You are as You have praised Yourself."

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ ایک رات میں سخت خوفزدہ ہوگئی کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو اپنے بستر پر نہ پایا، میں نے ہاتھ بڑھا کر محسوس کرنے کی کوشش کی تو میرے ہاتھ نبی ﷺ کے قدموں سے ٹکرا گئے جو کھڑے تھے۔ اور نبی ﷺ سجدے کی حالت میں تھے اور یہ دعا فرما رہے تھے کہ اے اللہ! میں تیری رضا کے ذریعے تیری ناراضگی سے، تیری درگذر کے ذریعے تیری سزا سے اور تیری ذات کے ذریعے تجھ سے پناہ مانگتا ہوں، میں تیری تعریف کا احاطہ نہیں کرسکتا، تو ویسا ہی ہے جیسے تو نے اپنی تعریف خود کی ہے۔
Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai keh aik raat mein sakht khaufzada hogayi keh maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko apne bistar par na paya, maine hath barha kar mehsoos karne ki koshish ki tou mere hath Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke qadmon se takra gaye jo kharay thay. Aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) sajday ki halat mein thay aur yeh dua farma rahay thay keh aye Allah! mein teri raza ke zariye teri narazgi se, teri darguzar ke zariye teri saza se aur teri zaat ke zariye tujhse panaah mangta hun, mein teri tareef ka ehtaah nahi karsakta, tou waisa hi hai jaise tune apni tareef khud ki hai.
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَت: فَزِعْتُ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ، وَفَقَدْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَمَدَدْتُ يَدِي، فَوَقَعَتْ عَلَى قَدَمَيْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُمَا مُنْتَصِبَانِ وَهُوَ سَاجِدٌ، وَهُوَ يَقُولُ: " أَعُوذُ بِرِضَاكَ مِنْ سَخَطِكَ، وَأَعُوذُ بِمُعَافَاتِكَ مِنْ عُقُوبَتِكَ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْكَ، لَا أُحْصِي ثَنَاءً عَلَيْكَ أَنْتَ كَمَا أَثْنَيْتَ عَلَى نَفْسِكَ" .
