Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 24422
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once we sought permission from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to participate in Jihad. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "No, your Jihad is Hajj Mabrur."

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم لوگوں نے نبی ﷺ سے جہاد میں شرکت کی اجازت چاہی تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا نہیں، تمہارا جہاد حج مبرور ہی ہے۔
Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allaho Anha se marvi hai k aik martaba hum logon ne Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam se jehad mein shirkat ki ijazat chahi to Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya nahi, tumhara jehad Hajj mabroor hi hai.
حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ حَبِيبٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ بِنْتِ طَلْحَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، قَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، أَلَا نَخْرُجُ نُجَاهِدُ مَعَكُمْ؟ قَالَ: " لَا، جِهَادُكُنَّ الْحَجُّ الْمَبْرُورُ، َهُوَ لَكُنَّ جِهَادٌ" .
