Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 24514
It is narrated from Aisha that a man bought a slave and employed him in his work. Then he found some fault in him and returned him to the seller. The seller said, "What about the wages for the days my slave worked?" So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "The profit from the work belongs with the liability of the guarantee."

حضرت عائشہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک آدمی نے ایک غلام خریدا، اسے اپنے کام میں لگایا، پھر اس میں کوئی عیب نظر آیا تو بائع (بچنے والا) کو واپس لوٹا دیا، بائع (بچنے والا) کہنے لگے کہ میرے غلام نے جتنے دن کام کیا ہے اس کی مزدوری؟ تو نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا کمائی کا منافع تاوان ضمانت کے ساتھ وابستہ ہوتا ہے۔
Hazrat Aisha se marvi hai ki aik aadmi ne aik ghulam khareeda, usay apne kaam mein lagaya, phir us mein koi aib nazar aaya to baie (bechne wala) ko wapas lota diya, baie (bechne wala) kehne lage ki mere ghulam ne jitne din kaam kiya hai us ki mazdoori? To Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya kamai ka munafa tawan zamanat ke sath wabasta hota hai.
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مُسْلِمٌ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ : أَنَّ رَجُلًا ابْتَاعَ غُلَامًا، فَاسْتَغَلَّهُ، ثُمَّ وَجَدَ أَوْ رَأَى بِهِ عَيْبًا، فَرَدَّهُ بِالْعَيْبِ، فَقَالَ الْبَائِعُ: غَلَّةُ عَبْدِي، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الْغَلَّةُ بِالضَّمَانِ" .
