Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 24534
Saibah, the freed slave woman of Fakah bin Mughirah, said: "Once I went to Aisha's house and saw a spear placed there. I asked her, 'O Mother of the Believers! What do you do with this spear?' She said, 'This is kept for lizards and I kill them with it, because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) narrated to us that when Ibrahim was thrown into the fire, there was no creature on earth that did not try to extinguish the fire except for the lizard, which was blowing on it. Therefore, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commanded us to kill lizards.'"

سائبہ " جو فاکہ بن مغیرہ کی آزاد کردہ باندھیں تھیں " کہتی ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ میں حضرت عائشہ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئی تو ان کے گھر میں ایک نیزہ رکھا ہوا دیکھا، میں نے ان سے پوچھا کہ اے ام المومنین! آپ اس نیزے کا کیا کرتی ہیں؟ انہوں نے فرمایا یہ ان چھپکلیوں کے لئے رکھا ہوا ہے اور اس سے انہیں مارتی ہوں، کیونکہ نبی ﷺ نے ہم سے یہ حدیث بیان فرمائی ہے کہ جب حضرت ابراہیم کو آگ میں ڈالا گیا تو زمین میں کوئی جانور ایسا نہ تھا جو آگ کو بجھا نہ رہا ہو سوائے اس چھپکلی کے کہ یہ اس میں پھونکیں مار رہی تھی، اس لئے نبی ﷺ نے ہمیں چھپکلی کو مارنے کا حکم دیا ہے۔
Saeiba "jo faqa bin mughaira ki aazaad kardah bandi thi" kehti hain ke ek martaba main Hazrat Ayesha ki khidmat mein hazir hui to unke ghar mein ek neza rakha hua dekha, maine unse pucha ke aye umm ul momineen! aap is neze ka kya karti hain? unhon ne farmaya yeh in chhipkaliyon ke liye rakha hua hai aur is se inhen marti hun, kyunke Nabi (SAWW) ne hum se yeh hadees bayaan farmaai hai ke jab Hazrat Ibrahim ko aag mein dala gaya to zameen mein koi janwar aisa na tha jo aag ko bujha na raha ho siwaye is chhipkali ke ke yeh is mein phunkain maar rahi thi, is liye Nabi (SAWW) ne humen chhipkali ko maarne ka hukum diya hai.
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا نَافِعٌ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَتْنِي سَائِبَةُ مَوْلَاةٌ لِلْفَاكِهِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ، قَالَتْ: دَخَلْتُ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ ، فَرَأَيْتُ فِي بَيْتِهَا رُمْحًا مَوْضُوعًا، قُلْتُ: يَا أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، مَا تَصْنَعُونَ بِهَذَا الرُّمْحِ؟ قَالَتْ: هَذَا لِهَذِهِ الْأَوْزَاغِ نَقْتُلُهُنَّ بِهِ، فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَدَّثَنَا " أَنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَلَيْهِ الصَّلَاة وَالسَّلَامُ حِينَ أُلْقِيَ فِي النَّارِ لَمْ تَكُنْ فِي الْأَرْضِ دَابَّةٌ إِلَّا تُطْفِئُ النَّارَ عَنْهُ غَيْرَ الْوَزَغِ، كَانَ يَنْفُخُ عَلَيْهِ، فَأَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِقَتْلِهِ" .
