Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 24700
Aisha narrates the details of the Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ritual bath after sexual intercourse: He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would first wash his hands, then perform ablution like that for prayer, then wash the roots of his hair. When he was sure that the water had reached the skin, he would pour water over his head three times, then wash the rest of his body.

حضرت عائشہ سے نبی ﷺ کے غسل جنابت کی تفصیل یوں مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ سب سے پہلے اپنے دونوں ہاتھوں کو دھوتے تھے، پھر نماز جیسا وضو فرماتے تھے، پھر سر کے بالوں کی جڑوں کا خلال فرماتے تھے اور جب یقین ہوجاتا کہ کھال تک ہاتھ پہنچ گیا ہے، تو تین مرتبہ پانی بہاتے، پھر باقی جسم پر پانی ڈالتے تھے۔
Hazrat Ayesha se Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke gusal janabat ki tafseel yun marvi hai ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) sab se pehle apne donon hathon ko dhote thay, phir namaz jaisa wuzu farmate thay, phir sar ke balon ki jaron ka khilal farmate thay aur jab yaqeen hojata ke khaal tak hath pahunch gaya hai, to teen marta pani bahatay, phir baqi jism par pani daltay thay.
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ : أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" كَانَ يَتَوَضَّأُ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَغْتَسِلَ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ، وُضُوءَهُ لِلصَّلَاةِ، ثُمَّ يُدْخِلُ يَدَهُ فِي الْإِنَاءِ فَيَتَتَبَّعُ أُصُولَ شَعَرِهِ، فَإِذَا ظَنَّ أَنْ قَدْ اسْتَبْرَأَ الْبَشَرَةَ كُلَّهَا، أَفْرَغَ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ ثَلَاثًا، ثُمَّ يَغْتَسِلُ" ، وقَالَ عُرْوَةُ: غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ يَبْدَأُ فَيَغْسِلُ يَدَهُ، ثُمَّ فَرْجَهُ.
