Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 24748
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha that the Prophet ﷺ used to observe fasts on Mondays and Thursdays with special attention.

حضرت عائشہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ پیر اور جمعرات کے روزے کا خصوصیت کے ساتھ خیال رکھتے تھے۔

حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ ثَوْرٍ ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يَتَحَرَّى صَوْمَ يَوْمِ الِاثْنَيْنِ وَالْخَمِيسِ" .
