Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 24795
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would enter his house at night, the first thing he would do is use the Miswak (tooth stick), and when he would leave the house, the last thing he would do before Fajr (dawn prayer) was to offer two rak'ahs (units of prayer).

حضرت عائشہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ رات کو جب اپنے گھر میں داخل ہوتے تھے تو سب سے پہلے مسواک فرماتے تھے اور جب گھر سے نکلتے تھے تو سب سے آخر میں فجر سے پہلے کی دو رکعتیں پڑھتے تھے۔
Hazrat Ayesha se marvi hai ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) raat ko jab apne ghar mein dakhil hote thay to sab se pehle miswak farmate thay aur jab ghar se nikalte thay to sab se akhir mein fajr se pehle ki do rakatain parhte thay.
حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ ، عَنْ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ: كَانَ " أَوَّلُ مَا يَبْدَأُ بِهِ إِذَا دَخَلَ بَيْتَهُ السِّوَاكَ، وَآخِرُهُ إِذَا خَرَجَ مِنْ بَيْتِهِ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ" .
