Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 24998
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once, one of the wives of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) observed Itikaf with him. During this time, her menstrual bleeding extended beyond its usual duration. She noticed yellow and red discharge. Sometimes, we would place a bowl beneath her while she was praying.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ کی ازواج مطہرات میں سے ایک زوجہ نے نبی ﷺ کے ہمراہ اعتکاف کیا تو انہیں ایک طے شدہ حد سے زیادہ ایام آنے لگے۔ اور وہ زردی اور سرخی دیکھتی تھیں اور بعض اوقات ہم ان سے نیچے طشت رکھ دیتے تھے جبکہ وہ نماز پڑھ رہی ہوتی تھیں۔
Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allaho Anha se marvi hai keh aik martaba Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ki azwaj mutyahaarat mein se aik zojain ne Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ke hamrah aitkaf kiya to unhen aik tay shuda had se ziada aiyam aane lage aur wo zardi aur surkhi dekhti thin aur baz auqat hum un se niche tasht rakh dete thay jabke wo namaz parh rahi hoti thin.
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ: " اعْتَكَفَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ امْرَأَةٌ مِنْ أَزْوَاجِهِ مُسْتَحَاضَةٌ، فَكَانَتْ تَرَى الصُّفْرَةَ وَالْحُمْرَةَ، فَرُبَّمَا وَضَعْنَا الطَّسْتَ تَحْتَهَا وَهِيَ تُصَلِّي" .
