Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 25069
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha Radi Allahu Anha that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) heard a man reciting a verse of the Holy Quran and said, "May Allah shower His mercy upon him, he has reminded me of such and such verse which I had forgotten."

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ایک آدمی کو قرآن کریم کی ایک آیت پڑھتے ہوئے سنا تو فرمایا کہ اللہ اس پر اپنی رحمت نازل کرے، اس نے مجھے فلاں آیت یاد دلا دی جو میں بھول گیا تھا۔
Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allah Anha se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ek aadmi ko Quran Kareem ki aik ayat parhte hue suna to farmaya ki Allah us par apni rehmat nazil kare, usne mujhe falan ayat yaad dila di jo mein bhul gaya tha.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ : سَمِعَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلًا يَقْرَأُ آيَةً، فَقَالَ: " رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ، لَقَدْ ذَكَّرَنِي آيَةً كُنْتُ أُنْسِيتُهَا" .
