Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 25095
Umm Habibah bint Jahsh (may Allah be pleased with her), who was the wife of Abdur-Rahman bin Auf (may Allah be pleased with him), came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said, "My menstrual bleeding never stops." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "This is the blood of a vein, not menstrual blood. So, abandon prayer during your menstrual period, and after that, take a bath and perform ablution for every prayer." So, she used to do the same.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ ام حبیبہ بنت جحش رضی اللہ عنہ " جو حضرت عبدالرحمٰن بن عوف رضی اللہ عنہ کے نکاح میں تھیں " نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئیں اور عرض کیا کہ میرا دم حیض ہمیشہ جاری رہتا ہے؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا یہ کسی رگ کا خون ہے، دم حیض نہیں اس لئے ایام حیض تک تو نماز چھوڑ دیا کرو، اس کے بعد غسل کر کے ہر نماز کے وقت وضو کرلیا کرو چنانچہ وہ اسی طرح کرتی تھیں۔
Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai keh aik martaba Umm Habibah bint Jahsh ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) "jo Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Auf (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke nikah mein thin" Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir हुईं aur arz kiya keh mera dam haiz hamesha jari rehta hai? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya yeh kisi rag ka khoon hai, dam haiz nahin is liye ayyam haiz tak to namaz chhor diya karo, uske baad ghusl kar ke har namaz ke waqt wuzu kar liya karo chunancha woh isi tarah karti thin.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، وَعَمْرَةَ بِنْتِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّ أُمَّ حَبِيبَةَ بِنْتَ جَحْشٍ اسْتُحِيضَتْ سَبْعَ سِنِينَ، وَكَانَتْ امْرَأَةَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ، فَسَأَلَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ ذَلِكَ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّمَا هَذَا عِرْقٌ وَلَيْسَتْ بِحَيْضَةٍ، فَاغْتَسِلِي وَصَلِّي" ، قَالَ: فَكَانَتْ تَغْتَسِلُ عِنْدَ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ.
