Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 25102
Rabia al-Jarashi said: I asked Aisha, may God be pleased with her, "What did the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, supplicate when he woke up at night, and with what did he begin?" She said: “The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, would say ten times: Allahu Akbar (God is the Greatest), ten times: Alhamdulillah (All praise is for God), ten times: Subhanallah (Glory be to God), ten times: La ilaha illallah (There is no God but God), and ten times: Astaghfirullah (I seek forgiveness from God). And he would say this supplication twice: “O Allah! Forgive me, guide me, and grant me provision.” And he would say this supplication ten times: “O Allah! I seek refuge in You from the distress of the Day of Judgement."

ربیعہ جرشی کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نے حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے پوچھا کہ نبی ﷺ جب رات کو بیدار ہوتے تو کیا دعا پڑھتے تھے اور کس چیز سے آغاز فرماتے تھے؟ انہوں نے بتایا کہ نبی ﷺ دس مرتبہ تکبیر کہتے تھے، دس مرتبہ الحمد، دس مرتبہ سبحان اللہ، دس مرتبہ لا الہ الا اللہ اور دس مرتبہ استغفر اللہ کہتے تھے اور دوسری مرتبہ یہ دعا پڑھتے تھے اے اللہ! مجھے معاف فرما، مجھے ہدایت عطاء فرما اور مجھے رزق عطاء فرما اور دس مرتبہ یہ دعا پڑھتے تھے، اے اللہ! میں حساب کے دن کی تنگی سے آپ کی پناہ میں آتا ہوں۔
Rabia Jarshi kehty hain keh aik martaba maine Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se poocha keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) jab raat ko bedaar hote to kia dua parhte thay aur kis cheez se aaghaz farmate thay? Unhon ne bataya keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) das martaba takbeer kehty thay, das martaba Alhamdulillah, das martaba Subhan Allah, das martaba La Ilaha Illallah aur das martaba Astaghfirullah kehty thay aur doosri martaba yeh dua parhte thay Aye Allah! mujhe maaf farma, mujhe hidayat ata farma aur mujhe rizq ata farma aur das martaba yeh dua parhte thay, Aye Allah! mein hisab ke din ki tangi se aap ki panaah mein aata hun.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا الْأَصْبَغُ ، عَنْ ثَوْرِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي رَبِيعَةُ الْجُرَشِيُّ ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ ، فَقُلْتُ: مَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِذَا قَامَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ؟ وَبِمَ كَانَ يَسْتَفْتِحُ؟ قَالَتْ: كَانَ يُكَبِّرُ عَشْرًا وَيُسَبِّحُ عَشْرًا، وَيُهَلِّلُ عَشْرًا، وَيَسْتَغْفِرُ عَشْرًا، وَيَقُولُ: " اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَاهْدِنِي وَارْزُقْنِي" عَشْرًا، وَيَقُولُ:" اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الضِّيقِ يَوْمَ الْحِسَابِ" عَشْرًا .
