Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 25108
Abu Salamah (may Allah be pleased with him) said that once I asked Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) about the Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) manner of taking a bath. She said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would first wash his hands, then wash his private parts, then wash his hands again and rinse his mouth and nose, then pour water over his head, then pour water over his entire body.

ابو سلمہ رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نے حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے نبی ﷺ کے غسل کے متعلق پوچھا تو انہوں نے فرمایا کہ نبی ﷺ پہلے اپنے دونوں ہاتھ دھوتے، پھر شرمگاہ کو دھوتے، پھر دونوں ہاتھ دھو کر کلی کرتے، ناک میں پانی ڈالتے اور سر پر پانی ڈالتے، پھر سارے جسم پر پانی بہاتے تھے۔
Abu Salma rahmatullah alaih kahte hain ke aik martaba maine Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke ghusl ke mutaliq poocha to unhon ne farmaya ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) pehle apne donon hath dhote, phir sharamgah ko dhote, phir donon hath dho kar kuli karte, nak mein pani dalte aur sar par pani dalte, phir sare jism par pani bahati the.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ عَنْ غُسْلِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ؟ فَقَالَتْ:" كَانَ يَغْسِلُ يَدَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا، ثُمَّ يَغْسِلُ فَرْجَهُ، ثُمَّ يَغْسِلُ يَدَيْهِ، ثُمَّ يَتَمَضْمَضُ وَيَسْتَنْشِقُ، ثُمَّ يَصُبُّ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ، ثُمَّ يُفْرِغُ عَلَى سَائِرِ جَسَدِهِ" .
