Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 25202
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha Radi Allahu Anha that the beginning of the revelation to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was through true dreams. Whatever dream the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, would see, its interpretation would become clear in the morning, just like the light of dawn.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ پر وحی کا آغاز سب سے پہلے سچے خوابوں کے ذریعے ہوا کہ نبی ﷺ جو خواب بھی دیکھتے صبح کی روشنی کی طرح اس کی تعبیر نمایاں ہو کر سامنے آجاتی تھی۔
Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allaho Anha se marvi hai keh Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam par wahi ka aghaz sab se pehle sache khwabon ke zariye huwa keh Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam jo khwab bhi dekhte subah ki roshni ki tarah us ki tabeer numaya ho kar samne ajati thi.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ مُبَارَكٍ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، وَيُونُسَ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ: " أَوَّلُ مَا بُدِئَ بِهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنَ الْوَحْيِ الرُّؤْيَا الصَّادِقَةُ" أَوْ قَالَ: الرُّؤْيَا الصَّالِحَةُ. شَكَّ ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ. قَالَتْ:" وَكَانَ لَا يَرَى رُؤْيَا إِلَّا جَاءَتْ مِثْلَ فَلَقِ الصُّبْحِ" .
