Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 25233
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha Radi Allahu Anha that a man asked Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him, "Who is the best of people?" Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him said, "The time in which I am, then the second and then the third."

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ ایک آدمی نے نبی ﷺ سے پوچھا کہ سب سے بہترین آدمی کون ہے؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا وہ زمانہ جس میں میں ہوں، پھر دوسرا اور پھر تیسرا۔
Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allaho Anha se marvi hai keh aik aadmi ne Nabi sallallaho alaihi wasallam se poocha keh sab se behtarin aadmi kon hai? Nabi sallallaho alaihi wasallam ne farmaya woh zamana jis mein mein hun, phir doosra aur phir teesra.
حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، عَنْ زَائِدَةَ ، عَنْ السُّدِّيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَهِيِّ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ: سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَيُّ النَّاسِ خَيْرٌ؟ قَالَ: " الْقَرْنُ الَّذِينَ أَنَا فِيهِ، ثُمَّ الثَّانِي، ثُمَّ الثَّالِثُ" .
