The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2533
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went out on the day of Eid and did not pray before it nor after it. Then the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went to the women along with Sayyidina Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) and preached to them and advised them, and ordered them to give charity. Upon this, the women began to take off their earrings, rings, etc. and give them in charity.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی اکرم ﷺ عید کے دن نکلے اور اس سے پہلے نماز پڑھی نہ بعد میں، پھر نبی ﷺ نے سیدنا بلال رضی اللہ عنہ کے ہمراہ عورتوں کے پاس آ کر انہیں وعظ و نصیحت کی اور انہیں صدقہ کا حکم دیا، جس پر عورتیں اپنی بالیاں اور انگوٹھیاں وغیرہ اتار کر صدقہ دینے لگیں۔
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi Akram (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Eid ke din nikle aur is se pehle namaz parhi na bad mein, phir Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Sayyidna Bilal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke hamrah auraton ke pass aa kar unhen waz o nasihat ki aur unhen sadqah ka hukum diya, jis par auraten apni baliyan aur angoothiyan waghaira utaar kar sadqah dene lagi.
حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَدِيُّ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ يُحَدِّثُ , عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ: خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فِي فِطْرٍ، فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ قَبْلَهَا وَلَا بَعْدَهَا، ثُمَّ أَتَى النِّسَاءَ، وَمَعَهُ بِلَالٌ، فَجَعَلَ يَقُولُ:" تَصَدَّقْنَ" , فَجَعَلَتْ الْمَرْأَةُ تُلْقِي خُرْصَهَا، وَسِخَابَهَا.
