ومن مسند بني هاشم
The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَا

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2534
They say that once Saeed bin Jubair, may Allah have mercy on him, led the Maghrib prayer in three rak'ahs like a resident, then after finishing the prayer, he led two rak'ahs of Isha prayer due to being a traveler, and then said that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar, may Allah be pleased with both of them, did the same and said that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, also did the same.

حکم کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ ہمیں حضرت سعید بن جبیر رحمہ اللہ نے مغرب کی نماز تین رکعتوں میں حضر کی طرح پڑھائی، پھر سلام پھیر کر عشا کی دو رکعتیں حالت سفر کی وجہ سے پڑھائیں، اور پھر فرمایا کہ سیدنا عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے اسی طرح کیا تھا اور فرمایا تھا کہ نبی ﷺ نے بھی اسی طرح کیا ہے۔
Hukum kehte hain ke ek martaba humain Hazrat Saeed bin Jubair rehmatullah alaih ne Maghrib ki namaz teen rakaton mein Hazar ki tarah parhayi, phir salaam phir kar Isha ki do rakaten halat safar ki wajah se parhayi, aur phir farmaya ke Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ne isi tarah kiya tha aur farmaya tha ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne bhi isi tarah kiya hai.
حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي الْحَكَمُ ، قَالَ:" صَلَّى بِنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ، بِجَمْعٍ الْمَغْرِبَ ثَلَاثًا بِإِقَامَةٍ، قَالَ: ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى الْعِشَاءَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ، وَذَكَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ".
