Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 25368
Narrated Aisha, the wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): Sometimes the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would be in a state requiring a bath (after sexual intimacy) in the morning. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would perform ghusl (ritual bath) from a tub and then fast.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ بعض اوقات نبی ﷺ صبح کے وقت وجوب غسل کی کیفیت میں ہوتے نبی ﷺ ٹب کے پاس آکر اس سے غسل فرماتے اور پھر روزہ بھی رکھ لیتے تھے۔

حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، عَنْ سَيَّارٍ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ:" كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْتِي الْمِخْضَبَ، فَيَغْتَسِلُ مِنْهُ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ بَعْدَمَا يُصْبِحُ، ثُمَّ يَظَلُّ يَوْمَهُ ذَلِكَ صَائِمًا" .
