Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 25422
It is narrated on the authority of Abdullah bin Shaqiq that he asked Ayesha (may Allah be pleased with her): Did the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) observe fasts on particular days of a month? She said: Yes!

عبداللہ بن شقیق سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے پوچھا کیا نبی ﷺ مہینے میں متعین دنوں کا روزہ رکھتے تھے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا ہاں!
Abdullah bin Shaqeek se marvi hai keh maine Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allaho Anha se poocha kya Nabi Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam mahine mein mutayyan dino ka roza rakhte thay? Unhon ne farmaya haan!
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ أَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَصُومُ الْأَيَّامَ الْمَعْلُومَةَ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ؟ فَقَالَتْ:" نَعَمْ" .
