The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2554
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) that once, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) offered the funeral prayer after a person was buried in the grave.

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے کسی شخص کے قبر میں مدفون ہونے کے بعد نماز جنازہ پڑھائی۔
Saina Ibne Abbas Raziallaho Anhuma se marvi hai ke aik martaba Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne kisi shaks ke qabar mein madfoon hone ke baad namaz janaza parhayi.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" صَلَّى عَلَى جِنَازَةٍ بَعْدَ مَا دُفِنَتْ".
