Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 25569
Narrated by Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would sometimes be in a state of Janabah (ritual impurity after intimacy) in the morning. He would perform Ghusl (ritual bath) and head towards the mosque, while drops of water were still dripping from his blessed head, and he would observe fasting on that day.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ بعض اوقات صبح کے وقت جنبی ہوتے تو غسل فرماتے اور مسجد کی طرف چل پڑتے، اس وقت نبی ﷺ کے سر مبارک سے پانی کے قطرات ٹپک رہے ہوتے تھے اور نبی ﷺ اس دن کے روزے کی نیت فرما لیتے تھے۔
Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) baaz auqat subah ke waqt junubi hote to ghusl farmate aur masjid ki taraf chal parte, iss waqt Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sar mubarak se pani ke qatrat tappak rahe hote thay aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) iss din ke roze ki niyat farma lete thay.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" كَانَ يَخْرُجُ إِلَى صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ وَرَأْسُهُ يَقْطُرُ، فَيُصْبِحُ صَائِمًا" .
