Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 25671
Masruq said: I asked Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, "What deed was most beloved to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him?" She said, "A deed done regularly." I asked, "When would the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, get up at night?" She said, "When he heard the crowing of the rooster."

مسروق کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے پوچھا کہ نبی ﷺ کے نزدیک سب سے زیادہ پسندیدہ عمل کون سا تھا؟ انہوں نے فرمایا جو ہمیشہ کیا جائے، میں نے پوچھا کہ نبی ﷺ رات کو کس وقت قیام فرماتے تھے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا جب مرغ کی آواز سن لیتے۔
Masrooq kehte hain ke maine Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allaho Anha se poocha ke Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ke nazdeek sab se zyada pasandida amal kaun sa tha? Unhon ne farmaya jo hamesha kiya jaye, maine poocha ke Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam raat ko kis waqt qayam farmate the? Unhon ne farmaya jab murg ki aawaz sun lete.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَشْعَثُ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ:" كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُعْجِبُهُ الدَّائِمُ مِنَ الْعَمَلِ". قَالَ: فَقُلْتُ: أَيُّ اللَّيْلِ كَانَ يَقُومُ؟ قَالَتْ:" إِذَا سَمِعَ الصَّارِخَ" .
