Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 25686
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that sometimes the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would wake up at night and offer prayer. One end of the blanket would be on the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and the other end on Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), who would be in the state of menses. And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would continue to pray.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ بعض اوقات نبی ﷺ رات کو بیدار ہو کر نماز پڑھتے تو لحاف کا ایک کونا نبی ﷺ کے اوپر ہوتا اور دوسرا کونا عائشہ پر " جو کہ ایام سے ہوتی تھیں " ہوتا اور نبی ﷺ نماز پڑھتے رہتے۔
Hazrat Aisha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai keh baaz auqat Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) raat ko bedar hokar namaz parhte toh lahaf ka aik kona Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke upar hota aur dusra kona Aisha par "jo keh ayaam se hoti thin" hota aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) namaz parhte rahte.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا طَلْحَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ ، سَمِعَهُ مِنْهُ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ:" كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ وَأَنَا إِلَى جَانِبِهِ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ عَلَيَّ مِرْطٌ، وَعَلَيْهِ بَعْضُهُ" .
