Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 25926
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that it is not a Sunnah (recommended practice) to stay at the place called "Abtah". The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) only stayed there because it was easier to exit from that side.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ مقام " ابطح " میں پڑاؤ کرنا سنت نہیں ہے، بلکہ نبی ﷺ نے وہاں صرف اس لئے پڑاؤ کیا تھا کہ اس طرف سے نکلنا زیادہ آسان تھا۔
Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ke muqam "Abtah" mein paradao karna sunnat nahin hai, balke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne wahan sirf is liye paradao kiya tha ke us taraf se nikalna zyada aasan tha.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ , قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ , قَالَتْ: " إِنَّ نُزُولَ الْأَبْطَحِ لَيْسَ بِسُنَّةٍ , إِنَّمَا نَزَلَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِأَنَّهُ كَانَ أَسْمَحَ لِخُرُوجِهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" .
