The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2593
It is narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that I bear witness regarding the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) offered the Eid prayer before the sermon on the day of Eid. Then, he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) delivered the sermon. Then he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went to the women and preached to them and advised them, and he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered them to give charity, upon which the women started giving charity (by taking off their earrings and rings).

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ میں نبی ﷺ کے متعلق گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ آپ ﷺ نے عید کے دن خطبہ سے پہلے نماز پڑھائی، پھر خطبہ ارشاد فرمایا، پھر عورتوں کے پاس آ کر انہیں وعظ و نصیحت کی اور انہیں صدقہ کا حکم دیا، جس پر عورتیں (اپنی بالیاں اور انگوٹھیاں اتار کر) صدقہ دینے لگیں۔
Seyedna Ibn Abbas RA se marvi hai keh mein Nabi SAW ke mutaliq gawahi deta hun keh aap SAW ne Eid ke din khutba se pehle namaz parhai, phir khutba irshad farmaya, phir auraton ke pass aa kar unhen waaz o nasihat ki aur unhen sadqa ka hukum diya, jis par auraten (apni baliyan aur angoothian utar kar) sadqa dene lagi.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، أَنَّهُ شَهِدَ عَلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، وَابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ شَهِدَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ" صَلَّى فِي يَوْمِ عِيدٍ، ثُمَّ خَطَبَ، ثُمَّ أَتَى النِّسَاءَ فَأَمَرَهُنَّ بِالصَّدَقَةِ، فَجَعَلْنَ يُلْقِينَ".
