Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 25952
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha Radiallahu Anha that Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to observe Itikaf (seclusion) in the last ten days of Ramadan until Allah called him to Himself.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ ماہ رمضان کے آخری عشرے کا اعتکاف فرمایا کرتے تھے حتیٰ کہ اللہ نے انہیں اپنے پاس بلا لیا۔
Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allaho Anha se marvi hai ki Nabi Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam mah Ramzan ke aakhri ashray ka aitekaf farmaya karte thay hatta ke Allah ne unhen apne pass bula liya.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ , حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ , عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ , عَنْ عُرْوَةَ , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ , أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" كَانَ يَعْتَكِفُ الْعَشْرَ الْأَوَاخِرَ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ حَتَّى قَبَضَهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ" .
