Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 25997
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would enter his house at night, the first thing he would do is use the Miswak (toothbrush), and when he would leave the house, the last thing he would do before Fajr (dawn prayer) was to offer two rak'ahs (units of prayer).

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ رات کو جب اپنے گھر میں داخل ہوتے تھے تو سب سے پہلے مسواک فرماتے تھے اور جب گھر سے نکلتے تھے تو سب سے آخر میں فجر سے پہلے کی دو رکعتیں پڑھتے تھے۔
Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allaho Anha se marvi hai ki Nabi sallallaho alaihi wasallam raat ko jab apne ghar mein dakhil hote thy to sab se pehle miswak farmate thy aur jab ghar se nikalte thy to sab se akhir mein fajr se pehle ki do rakat namaz parhte thy.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ , قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا شَرِيكٌ , عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ يَا أُمَّهْ , بِأَيِّ شَيْءٍ كَانَ يَبْدَأُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا دَخَلَ عَلَيْكِ بَيْتَكِ , وَبِأَيِّ شَيْءٍ كَانَ يَخْتِمُ؟ , قَالَتْ:" كَانَ يَبْدَأُ بِالسِّوَاكِ، وَيَخْتِمُ بِرَكْعَتَيْ الْفَجْرِ" .
