Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 26130
Fatima bint Abdur-Rahman narrates on the authority of her mother that her paternal uncle sent her (her mother) to Umm al-Mu'minin Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, with this message: "Your son sends his Salam (greetings) to you and asks you about Uthman bin Affan, may Allah be pleased with him, because people have started speaking ill of him." She (Aisha) said: "May Allah's curse be upon the one who curses him. By Allah, he used to sit with the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, would lean on me, and while he was like that, Gabriel, peace be upon him, would come with revelation. The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, would then say to him, 'O Uthman! Write.' Indeed, Allah only grants this rank to those who are honorable in the sight of Allah and His Messenger."

فاطمہ بنت عبدالرحمن اپنی والدہ کے حوالے سے نقل کرتی ہیں کہ انہیں ان کے چچا نے ام المؤمنین حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے پاس یہ پیغام دے کر بھیجا کہ آپ کا ایک بیٹا آپ کو سلام کہہ رہا ہے اور آپ سے حضرت عثمان بن عفان رضی اللہ عنہ کے متعلق پوچھ رہا ہے، کیونکہ لوگ ان کی شان میں گستاخی کرنے لگے ہیں، انہوں نے فرمایا کہ جو ان پر لعنت کرے، اس پر اللہ کی لعنت نازل ہو، واللہ وہ نبی ﷺ کے پاس بیٹھے ہوتے تھے اور نبی ﷺ اپنی پشت مبارک میرے ساتھ لگائے ہوتے تھے اور اسی دوران حضرت جبرائیل علیہ السلام وحی لے کر آجاتے تو نبی ﷺ ان سے فرماتے تھے اے عثیم! لکھو اللہ یہ مرتبہ اسی کو دے سکتا ہے جو اللہ اور اس کے رسول کی نگاہوں میں معزز ہو۔
Fatima bint Abdul Rahman apni walida ke hawale se naqal karti hain keh unhen un ke chacha ne Umm ul Momineen Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) ke paas yeh paigham de kar bheja keh aap ka aik beta aap ko salam keh raha hai aur aap se Hazrat Usman bin Affan (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke mutalliq poch raha hai, kyunkeh log un ki shan mein gustakhi karne lage hain, unhon ne farmaya keh jo un per laanat kare, us per Allah ki laanat nazil ho, Wallahu woh Nabi sallal laho alaihi wasallam ke paas baithe hote thay aur Nabi sallal laho alaihi wasallam apni pusht mubarak mere sath lagaye hote thay aur isi dauran Hazrat Jibraeel alaihissalam wahi lekar aate to Nabi sallal laho alaihi wasallam un se farmate thay aye Uthiam! likho Allah yeh martaba usi ko de sakta hai jo Allah aur uske Rasul ki nigaahon mein moazziz ho.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ , قَالَ: حَدَّثَتْنِي فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ , قَالَتْ: حَدَّثَتْنِي أُمِّي , أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ: سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ , وَأَرْسَلَهَا عَمُّهَا , فَقَالَ: إِنَّ أَحَدَ بَنِيكِ يُقْرِئُكِ السَّلَامَ , وَيَسْأَلُكِ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ , فَإِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ شَتَمُوهُ؟ فَقَالَتْ: لَعَنَ اللَّهُ مَنْ لَعَنَهُ , فَوَاللَّهِ لَقَدْ كَانَ قَاعِدًا عِنْدَ نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , وَإِنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمُسْنِدٌ ظَهْرَهُ إِلَيَّ , وَإِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ لَيُوحِي إِلَيْهِ الْقُرْآنَ , وَإِنَّهُ لَيَقُولُ لَهُ: " اكْتُبْ يَا عُثَيْمُ" , فَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيُنْزِلَهُ تِلْكَ الْمَنْزِلَةَ إِلَّا كَرِيمًا عَلَى اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ .
