Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 26235
It is narrated on the authority of Ayesha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: If a woman marries without the permission of her guardian, then her marriage is void, and the King is the guardian of the one who has no guardian.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا اگر کوئی عورت اپنے آقا کی اجازت کے بغیر نکاح کرے تو اس کا نکاح نہیں ہوا اور بادشاہ اس کا ولی ہوگا جس کا کوئی ولی نہ ہو۔
Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya agar koi aurat apne aqa ki ijazat ke baghair nikah kare to us ka nikah nahi hua aur badshah us ka wali hoga jis ka koi wali na ho.
حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ أَبُو خَالِدٍ , حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ , عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ , قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا نِكَاحَ إِلَّا بِوَلِيٍّ , وَالسُّلْطَانُ وَلِيُّ مَنْ لَا وَلِيَّ لَهُ" .
