The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2636
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The person with the lightest punishment in Hellfire will be Abu Talib. He will wear two sandals of fire, from which his brain will boil like a pot."

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”اہل جہنم میں سب سے ہلکا عذاب ابوطالب کو ہوگا، انہوں نے آگ کی دو جوتیاں پہن رکھی ہوں گی جس سے ان کا دماغ ہنڈیا کی طرح ابلتا ہو گا۔“
Sada ibn Abbas raziallahu anhuma se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Ahl jahannam mein sab se halka azab Abu Talib ko hoga, unhon ne aag ki do jootiyan pehen rakhi hongi jis se un ka dimagh handi ki tarah ubalta ho ga.“
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ثَابِتٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ:" أَهْوَنُ أَهْلِ النَّارِ عَذَابًا أَبُو طَالِبٍ، وَهُوَ مُنْتَعِلٌ نَعْلَيْنِ مِنْ نَارٍ، يَغْلِي مِنْهُمَا دِمَاغُهُ".
