Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 26363
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the news of the martyrdom of Zaid bin Haritha and Abdur Rahman bin Rawah (may Allah be pleased with them both) arrived, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sat on the ground and wept, and signs of grief were evident on his blessed face. I was peeking through a hole in the door when a man came and said, "O Messenger of Allah! The women of Ja'far are weeping." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to him, "Stop them." The man went away and returned after a while and said, "I forbade them, but they do not listen to me." This happened three times. Finally, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to him, "Go and throw dust in their mouths." Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said to him, "May Allah cover you in dust! By Allah, you do what the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commands you to do and you do not leave his side."

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ جب حضرت زید بن حارثہ اور عبدالرحمن بن رواحہ رضی اللہ عنہ کی شہادت کی خبر آئی، تو نبی ﷺ زمین پر بیٹھ گئے اور روئے انور سے غم کے آثار ہویدا تھے، میں دروازے کے سوراخ سے جھانک رہی تھی کہ ایک آدمی آیا اور کہنے لگا یا رسول اللہ! جعفر کی عورتیں رو رہی ہیں، نبی ﷺ نے اس سے فرمایا کہ انہیں منع کردو، وہ آدمی چلا گیا اور تھوڑی دیر بعد واپس آیا اور کہنے لگا میں نے انہیں منع کیا ہے لیکن وہ میری بات نہیں مانتیں، تین مرتبہ اس طرح ہوا، بالآخر نبی ﷺ نے اس سے فرمایا کہ جا کر ان کے منہ میں مٹی بھر دو، حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے اس سے فرمایا اللہ تجھے خاک آلود کرے، واللہ تو وہ کرتا ہے جس کا نبی ﷺ تجھے حکم دیتے اور نہ ہی ان کی جان چھوڑتا ہے۔
Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allaho Anha se marvi hai ki jab Hazrat Zaid bin Haritha aur Abdur Rahman bin Rawaha Radi Allaho Anhuma ki shahadat ki khabar aayi to Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam zameen par baith gaye aur roye anwar se gham ke asar hoyeda thay main darwaze ke suraakh se jhank rahi thi ki ek aadmi aaya aur kehne laga Ya Rasulullah! Jaffar ki aurtain ro rahi hain Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne us se farmaya ki unhen mana kar do wo aadmi chala gaya aur thori dair baad wapas aaya aur kehne laga main ne unhen mana kiya hai lekin wo meri baat nahi maanti teen martaba is tarah hua bal akhir Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne us se farmaya ki ja kar un ke munh mein mitti bhar do Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allaho Anha ne us se farmaya Allah tujhe khak aalud kare Wallahi to wo karta hai jis ka Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam tujhe hukum dete aur na hi un ki jaan chorta hai.
حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ , قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي , عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ , قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَتْ: لَمَّا أَتَى قَتْلُ جَعْفَرٍ , عَرَفْنَا فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْحُزْنَ , قَالَتْ: فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ رَجُلٌ , فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ , إِنَّ النِّسَاءَ قَدْ غَلَبْنَنَا وَفَتَنَّنَا , قَالَ: " فَارْجِعْ إِلَيْهِنَّ فَأَسْكِتْهُنَّ" , قَالَ: فَذَهَبَ , ثُمَّ رَجَعَ , فَقَالَ لَهُ: مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ , قَالَ: يَقُولُ: وَرُبَّمَا ضَرَّ التَّكَلُّفُ أَهْلَهُ , قَالَ:" فَاذْهَبْ فَأَسْكِتْهُنَّ , فَإِنْ أَبْيَنَ , فَاحْثُ فِي أَفْوَاهِهِنَّ التُّرَابَ" , قَالَتْ: قُلْتُ فِي نَفْسِي: أَبْعَدَكَ اللَّهُ , فَوَاللَّهِ مَا تَرَكْتَ نَفْسَكَ , وَمَا أَنْتَ بِمُطِيعٍ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَتْ: عَرَفْتُ أَنَّهُ لَا يَقْدِرُ عَلَى أَنْ يَحْثُوَ فِي أَفْوَاهِهِنَّ التُّرَابَ .
