Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 26490
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) visited her and there was a eunuch and Abdullah bin Abi Umayya, who was the brother of Umm Salama, present there. The eunuch was saying to Abdullah, "O Abdullah bin Abi Umayya, if tomorrow Allah grants you victory over Taif, then you should definitely marry the daughter of Gailan because she comes with four and goes back with eight." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) heard this and said to Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her), "He should not come to your house in future."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ ان کے پاس تشریف لائے تو وہاں ایک مخنث اور عبداللہ بن ابی امیہ جو حضرت ام سلمہ کے بھائی تھے بھی موجود تھے وہ ہیجڑا عبداللہ سے کہہ رہا تھا کہ اے عبداللہ بن ابی امیہ اگر کل کو اللہ تمہیں طائف پر فتح عطاء فرمائے تو تم بنت غیلان کو ضرور حاصل کرنا کیونکہ وہ چار کے ساتھ آتی ہے اور آٹھ کے ساتھ واپس جاتی ہے نبی ﷺ نے اس کی یہ بات سن لی اور حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے فرمایا آئندہ یہ تمہارے گھر میں نہیں آنا چاہئے۔
Hazrat Umme Salma Raziallahu Anha se marvi hai ki aik martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) un ke paas tashreef laaye to wahan ek mukhannaas aur Abdullah bin Abi Umayya jo Hazrat Umme Salma ke bhai thay bhi mojood thay woh hijra Abdullah se keh raha tha ke aye Abdullah bin Abi Umayya agar kal ko Allah tumhein Taif par fatah ata farmaye to tum bint e ghaylan ko zaroor hasil karna kyunki woh chaar ke sath aati hai aur aath ke sath wapis jati hai Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne uski yeh baat sun li aur Hazrat Umme Salma Raziallahu Anha se farmaya aayinda yeh tumhare ghar mein nahin aana chahiye.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَتْ: دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَعِنْدَهَا مُخَنَّثٌ، وَعِنْدَهَا أَخُوهَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي أُمَيَّةَ، وَالْمُخَنَّثُ يَقُولُ لِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ: يَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أَبِي أُمَيَّةَ، إِنْ فَتَحَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمْ الطَّائِفَ غَدًا، فَعَلَيْكَ بِابْنَةِ غَيْلَانَ، فَإِنَّهَا تُقْبِلُ بِأَرْبَعٍ، وَتُدْبِرُ بِثَمَانٍ , قَالَ: فَسَمِعَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ لِأُمِّ سَلَمَةَ:" لَا يَدْخُلَنَّ هَذَا عَلَيْكِ" .
