Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 26522
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to her while she was wrapping a dupatta (scarf) around her head. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Wrap it only once, not twice (so that it does not resemble the turbans of men)."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ ان کے پاس تشریف لائے تو وہ دوپٹہ اوڑھ رہی تھیں نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ اسے ایک ہی مرتبہ لپیٹنا دو مرتبہ نہیں (تاکہ مردوں کے عمامے کے ساتھ مشابہت نہ ہوجائے)
Hazrat Umm Salma RA se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi SAW un ke pas tashreef laye to wo dopatta odh rahi thi, Nabi SAW ne farmaya ki isse ek hi martaba lapetna do martaba nahi (taake mardon ke amame ke sath mushabat na ho jaye).
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ , وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ , عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ حَبِيبٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ وَهْبٍ مَوْلَى أَبِي أَحْمَدَ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا وَلَمْ تَخْتَمِرْ، فَقَالَ: " لَيَّةً، لَا لَيَّتَيْنِ" .
