Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 26637
Yahya bin Jazzar narrates that once some companions went to Umm Salama and said, "O Mother of the Believers, tell us about a personal matter of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)." She said, "The Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) private and public life were the same." Then she regretted it and thought that she had revealed a secret of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) arrived, she told him about it. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "You have done well."

یحی بن جزار کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ کچھ صحابہ حضرت ام سلمہ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے اور عرض کیا اے ام المومنین ہمیں نبی ﷺ کے کسی اندرونی معاملے کے متعلق بتایئے انہوں نے فرمایا کہ نبی ﷺ کا پوشدیہ اور ظاہری معاملہ دونوں برابر ہوتے تھے، پھر انہیں ندامت ہوئی اور سوچا کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کا راز فاش کردیا اور جب نبی ﷺ تشریف لائے تو ان سے عرض کیا نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا تم نے ٹھیک کیا۔
Yahi bin Jazar kahte hain ke aik martaba kuch sahaba Hazrat Umm Salma ki khidmat mein hazir hue aur arz kiya aye Ummalmomineen hamen Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke kisi andaruni mamle ke mutalliq bataiye unhon ne farmaya ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka poshida aur zahiri mamla dono barabar hote the phir unhen nadamat hui aur socha ke maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka raaz faash kardiya aur jab Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) tashreef laye to unse arz kiya Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya tumne theek kiya.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْجَزَّارِ ، قَالَ: دَخَلَ نَاسٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، فَقَالُوا: يَا أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، حَدِّثِينَا عَنْ سِرِّ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَتْ: كَانَ سِرُّهُ وَعَلَانِيَتُهُ سَوَاءً، ثُمَّ نَدِمْتُ، فَقُلْتُ: أَفْشَيْتُ سِرَّ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَتْ: فَلَمَّا دَخَلَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ، فَقَالَ:" أَحْسَنْتِ" .
