Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 26641
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to offer Witr prayer with seven or five rak'ahs and would not separate them with Salaam or any speech.

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ سات یا پانچ رکعتوں پر وتر پڑھتے تھے اور ان کے درمیان سلام یا کلام کسی طرح بھی فصل نہیں فرماتے تھے۔
Hazrat Umm e Salma Radi Allaho Anha se marvi hai keh Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam saat ya paanch rakaton par witr parhte thay aur un ke darmiyan salaam ya kalaam kisi tarah bhi fasal nahin farmate thay.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ الْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَتْ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يُوتِرُ بِخَمْسٍ، أَوْ سَبْعٍ، لَا يَفْصِلُ بَيْنَهُنَّ بِكَلَامٍ، وَلَا تَسْلِيمٍ" .
