Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 26672
Narrated by Umm Salama, may Allah be pleased with her, that once the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, came to me and his face was pale. I thought that perhaps he was in some distress, so I asked, "O Prophet of Allah, what is the matter that your face is pale?" The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said, "Actually, I have seven dinars left, which came to us yesterday. It is evening and they are still lying on our bed."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ میرے پاس تشریف لائے تو چہرے کا رنگ اڑا ہوا تھا میں سمجھی کہ شاید کوئی تکلیف ہے سو میں نے پوچھا اے اللہ کے نبی کیا بات ہے آپ کے چہرے کا رنگ اڑا ہوا ہے؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا دراصل میرے پاس سات دینار رہ گئے ہیں جو کل ہمارے پاس آئے تھے شام ہوگئی اور اب تک وہ ہمارے بستر پر پڑے ہیں۔
Hazrat Umm e Salma raziallahu anha se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) mere pas tashreef laaye to chehre ka rang ura hua tha main samjhi ki shayad koi takleef hai so main ne pucha aye Allah ke Nabi kya baat hai aap ke chehre ka rang ura hua hai? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya darasal mere pas saat dinar reh gaye hain jo kal humare pas aaye the sham ho gayi aur ab tak wo humare bistar par pare hain.
حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، عَنْ زَائِدَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي رِبْعِيُّ بْنُ حِرَاشٍ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَتْ: دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ سَاهِمُ الْوَجْهِ، قَالَتْ: فَحَسِبْتُ ذَلِكَ مِنْ وَجَعٍ، فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، أَرَاكَ سَاهِمَ الْوَجْهِ، أَفَمِنْ وَجَعٍ؟ فَقَالَ: " لَا، وَلَكِنَّ الدَّنَانِيرَ السَّبْعَةَ الَّتِي أُتِينَا بِهَا أَمْسِ، أَمْسَيْنَا وَلَمْ نُنْفِقْهَا، نَسِيتُهَا فِي خُصْمِ الْفِرَاشِ" .
