Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 26819
Badee'ah narrates that once Maimoona sent me to the wife of Abdullah bin Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them) with whom she had close relations. I saw that her bed was separate from the bed of Ibn Abbas. I thought that perhaps there was some disagreement between them, so I asked her about it. She replied that there was no such thing, but she was menstruating, and when that happened, he did not come near her bed. I came to Maimoona and told her this. She sent me back to Ibn Abbas and said, "Are you objecting to the Sunnah of the Prophet (Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)? The Prophet (Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to sleep with his wives even when they were menstruating, and there was only a cloth between them that covered them above the knees."

بدیہ کہتی ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ مجھے حضرت میمونہ نے حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس جن کے ساتھ ان کے قریبی رشتہ داری تھی کی اہلیہ کے پاس بھیجا میں نے دیکھا کہ ان کا بستر حضرت ابن عباس کے بستر سے الگ ہے میں سمجھی کہ شاید ان کے درمیان کوئی ناچاقی ہوگئی ہے، چنانچہ میں نے ان سے اس کے متعلق پوچھا انہوں نے بتایا کہ ایسی کوئی بات نہیں ہے البتہ میں ایام سے ہوں اور جب ایسا ہوتا ہے تو وہ میرے بستر کے قریب نہیں آتے، میں حضرت میمونہ کے پاس آئی تو انہیں یہ بات بھی بتائی، انہوں نے مجھے حضرت ابن عباس کے پاس بھیج دیا اور فرمایا کیا تم نبی ﷺ کی سنت سے اعراض کر رہے ہو؟ نبی ﷺ تو اپنی بیویوں کے ساتھ خواہ وہ ایام ہی سے ہوتیں سوجاتے تھے اور ان دونوں کے درمیان صرف وہی کپڑا ہوتا تھا جو گھٹنوں سے اوپر ہوتا تھا
Budiya kahti hain keh ek martaba mujhe Hazrat Maimoona ne Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas jin ke sath un ke qareebi rishtedari thi ki ahliya ke paas bheja maine dekha keh un ka bistar Hazrat Ibn Abbas ke bistar se alag hai main samjhi keh shayad un ke darmiyan koi nachaiqi hogayi hai, chunancha maine un se is ke mutalliq poocha unhon ne bataya keh aisi koi baat nahi hai albatta main ayaam se hun aur jab aisa hota hai to woh mere bistar ke qareeb nahi aate, main Hazrat Maimoona ke paas aai to unhen ye baat bhi batai, unhon ne mujhe Hazrat Ibn Abbas ke paas bhej diya aur farmaya kya tum Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki sunnat se aeteraaz kar rahe ho? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) to apni biwiyon ke sath chahe woh ayaam hi se hoti thi sojate the aur un donon ke darmiyan sirf wohi kapda hota tha jo ghutnon se upar hota tha.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ بُدَيَّةَ ، قَالَتْ: أَرْسَلَتْنِي مَيْمُونَةُ بِنْتُ الْحَارِثِ إِلَى امْرَأَةِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، وَكَانَتْ بَيْنَهُمَا قَرَابَةٌ، فَرَأَيْتُ فِرَاشَهَا مُعْتَزِلًا فِرَاشَهُ، فَظَنَنْتُ أَنَّ ذَلِكَ لِهِجْرَانٍ، فَسَأَلْتُهَا، فَقَالَتْ: لَا، وَلَكِنِّي حَائِضٌ، فَإِذَا حِضْتُ، لَمْ يَقْرَبْ فِرَاشِي، فَأَتَيْتُ مَيْمُونَةَ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لَهَا، فَرَدَّتْنِي إِلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، فَقَالَتْ: أَرَغْبَةً عَنْ سُنَّةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ لَقَدْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " يَنَامُ مَعَ الْمَرْأَةِ مِنْ نِسَائِهِ الْحَائِضِ، وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا إِلَّا ثَوْبٌ مَا يُجَاوِزُ الرُّكْبَتَيْنِ" .
