Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 26884
Umm-ul-Fazl narrated that she heard Ibn Abbas reciting Surah Mursalat, so she said, "By Allah, dear son, by reciting this Surah you have reminded me that this was the last Surah that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) reciting in the Maghrib prayer.”

حضرت ام الفضل سے مروی ہے کہ انہوں نے حضرت ابن عباس کی سورت مرسلات پڑھتے ہوئے سنا تو فرمایا واللہ پیارے بیٹے تم نے یہ سورت پڑھ کر مجھے یاددلا دیا ہے کہ یہ آخری سورت ہے جو میں نے نبی ﷺ کو نماز مغرب میں تلاوت فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے۔
Hazrat Umm ul Fazal se marvi hai ki unhon ne Hazrat Ibn Abbas ki Surah Mursalat parhte hue suna to farmaya Wallahi pyare bete tum ne yeh surat parh kar mujhe yaad dila diya hai ki yeh aakhri surat hai jo maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko Namaz Maghrib mein tilawat farmate hue suna hai.
قَرَأْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مَهْدِيٍّ : مَالِكٌ . ح وَحَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ الْمَعْنَى، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: إِنَّ أُمَّ الْفَضْلِ بِنْتَ الْحَارِثِ سَمِعَتْهُ وَهُوَ يُقْرَأُ: (وَالْمُرْسَلَاتِ عُرْفًا) , فَقَالَتْ: يَا بُنَيَّ، وَاللَّهِ لَقَدْ ذَكَّرْتَنِي بِقِرَاءَتِكَ هَذِهِ السُّورَةَ،" إِنَّهَا لَآخِرُ مَا سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْرَأُ بِهَا فِي الْمَغْرِبِ" .
