The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2696
It is narrated from Sayyida Aisha Radi Allahu Anha and Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas Radi Allahu Anhu that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stayed in Makkah Mukarramah for ten years, during which the Quran was revealed to him, and he also stayed in Madinah Munawwarah for ten years.

سیدہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا اور سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ دس سال تک مکہ مکرمہ میں رہے جس دوران آپ ﷺ پر قرآن نازل ہوتا رہا، اور مدینہ منورہ میں بھی دس سال رہے۔
Syeda Ayesha Raziallahu Anha aur Syedna Ibn Abbas Raziallahu Anhuma se marvi hai ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) das saal tak Makkah Mukarramah mein rahe jis doran Aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) par Quran nazil hota raha, aur Madina Munawwara mein bhi das saal rahe.
حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى ، قَالَ: وَأَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ : أن رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" لَبِثَ بِمَكَّةَ عَشْرَ سِنِينَ يَنْزِلُ عَلَيْهِ الْقُرْآنُ، وَبِالْمَدِينَةِ عَشْرًا".
